Prince!
He is on the trading block and there isn't a better fit for us at the SF spot than Prince. He's 28 and just entering his prime. He's been in the ECF every year of his career. He's exactly what we need to have along side our young core. The Detroit window has closed. They wont give him away but they are ripe for a trade.

Re: Prince!
They aren't going to give him up for cheap.
The standard Outlaw/Raef/13 package won't work.

Re: Prince!
OK now we are talking. This guy would be great. Unlike the overrated and over paid SF 's that keep coming up. (Rashard Lewis, RJ, Battier) Prince would be perfect.

Re: Prince!
Why couldn't we have traded ZBo for Prince? Wait, why would Detroit make that deal. Nevermind.

Re: Prince!
I wouldn't trade Aldridge for Prince, and it's my guess is that is the type of value they will be looking for.

Re: Prince!
Nahh he is staying in Detroit. You would have to give up B-Roy or Oden to get him.

Then he really isn't on the block, because B-Roy or Oden would be absurd.

Re: Prince!
Detroit will make changes this offseason. But, I think the guys they're looking to get rid of our Rasheed, who didn't show up at all in the playoffs and didn't have the fire he usually has. Billups is the other guy that I think will be gone. Billups is getting fairly old and they already have a guy who proved himself in Stuckey waiting in the wings.

You are way overrating Prince.
Just look at Travis Outlaw and Prince side by side
mpg
Prince - 32.9
Outlaw - 26.6
ppg
Prince - 13.2
Outlaw - 13.1
pp40
Prince - 16.0
Outlaw - 20
apg
Prince - 3.3
Outlaw - 1.3
ap40
Prince - 4.0
Outlaw - 1.95
rpg
Prince - 4.9
Outlaw - 4.6
2p40
Prince - 6.0
Outlaw - 6.9
FG%
Prince - .448
Outlaw - .433
FT%
Prince - .768
Outlaw - .742
3pt%
Prince - .363
Outlaw - .396
PER
Prince - 15.66
Outlaw - 15.79
I am not saying that Outlaw is as good as Prince, but from the stats, it does show they are very close. Their PER is near identical but I think that Prince is certainly the better defender and that doesn't really get reflected enough in PER. My main point is, that Outlaw or Prince would not even come close to being able to match stats or ability or potential against Brandon, nor would either be close to enough to get Oden, who was kept over Kobe, Melo and Duncan according to some of the rumors at the time of his draft.

That's just absurd. Dude, I understand that some around here overvalue some of our players, but that's just one of the worst assessments of trade value I've ever heard of.
