Tread carefully. Don't want to trade him for the modern day equivalent of Walter Davis!
True, we don't have that solid back=court of Terry and Clyde..but he essentially plays the same position as Roy, no?
From Fernandez:
"They have pushed hard for me to join them and have assured me I will be an important figure for them"
BUT...what if he doesn't get more than 10-12 minutes per game? Then what? What if we trade for a good or vet PG? his PT decreases right?

That Blazer team Drazen was on was winning 60 games per season. That was one sick team.
Look at the guard rotation:
Porter: Peak Prime age 27, PER 22!
Drexler: Peak Prime age 28, PER 22
Ainge: End Prime age 31, Champion, PER 17
Danny Young: Prime age 28, role player, did what Drazen couldn't, from the bench defend PG's, run the offense, hit the 3.
Drazen had a PER 15. He wasn't bad for the team, but he was far less effiecent than the the big three, that season due to a shooting slump. In other circumstances he would have got heavy minutes off the bench. There was just no room for him on one of the best teams in the NBA.
The Ainge factor did him in. The team messed up and should have handled this better and they ended up selling "low".
