Since the obvious news here is that the "known gang member and drug dealer" (this is according to Mike Reese, central precinct commander for the Portland Police Bureau) was allowed to party the night away, was not arrested by the police even though he is a "known gang member and drug dealer", and his identity is being shielded by Eggars.
It would seem the closest thing we have to a crimefighter here in Portland is Zach Randolph.

I don't think that's quite the point (besides, being a known drug dealer and gang member is not in and of itself a crime). The real problem is that Zach can't seem to keep himself out of situations where public violence and mayhem ensue; just a few months back, when he was here for a road game, he was in the middle of a huge brawl at the Greek Cuisina between his entourage and another group. I'm not suggesting that Zach has been directly in the middle of these fights, but he's being awfully careless in the "friends" he chooses to keep and the damage they are doing to his reputation ought to make you question Zach's judgment at least.
