Re: Cav Fan approved deal!!!!!!
Well, sure. As long as someone in a chatroom says it is a good deal, then it is.

Re: Cav Fan approved deal!!!!!!
Clearly LeBron is not enough value back for Outlaw. Seriously, the only player I'd trade for Outlaw is Jason Jennings, but since he's trying his hand at minor league baseball right now (as is the legacy of all who have ever held the title "greatest ever") there's just nothing we can get for Travis that would be fair.
Jack for LeBron straight up though... that's doable.

Keeping the trade restrictions on NBA Live/NBA2K turned on makes the game more challenging.
I heard the 1st pick is available for Joel Freeland and a player to be named later, if KP says pretty please.

Re: Cav Fan approved deal!!!!!!
maybe if raef was in his prime, jj was joe johnson, outlaw was so good it was illegal, and the future pick was lebrons son.....and lebron was about to retire........

Re: Cav Fan approved deal!!!!!!
seriously, though, the deal that makes the most sense is Roy + Aldridge + Outlaw for LeBron. which I'd happily do, and actually makes some sense to Cleveland given how shallow that team is. some here would consider that heresy, but Kobe/Shaq proved how dominating the swingman/center tandem can be.

I see your point and on some level like it for both teams. A rotation of something like...
PG: Blake, Jack, Rodriguez
SG: Fernandez, Jack, Webster
SF: James, Webster, Jones
PF: Frye, James, Jones
C: Oden, Przybilla, Frye
...could probably win a lot of games, as could Roy, Aldridge, and Outlaw with the rest of the current Cleveland roster.
However, I can't (as you seem to be able to) just root for a uniform. I'm attached and I like being attached. It's like a marriage for me -- I don't have any interest in ending a great relationship just because there's some hot blonde who's suddenly interested in me.

Re: Cav Fan approved deal!!!!!!
but you are missing the point of my trade above, that a CAV's fan said it was a good trade, so why give away roy and aldridge?

He's not missing the point, he's creating a trade that Cleveland's GM might actually go for -- your friend is unlikely to be the one pulling the trigger on the trade. I'm also guessing that if your friend really is actually a Cavs' fan, s/he's a very casual fan. The only way Cleveland trades James is if they figure they're going to lose him anyway and in that case, they'd want (and could get) a package like Mook suggested.
It sounds like what you're really after is for a bunch of us to laugh at how silly your friend is, and I suspect you've already gotten as much of that as you're going to get.
