Blazers NBA Draft 2008 Survivor: Round 3
Third round. Augustin is gone in round 2.
Vote for the option that you least want the Blazers to end up with with their first pick of the draft. Assume no trades involving current Blazers players at the time of the selection, and the only players available are the ones listed (so everyone is available in the first round).
I've set the poll to expire after 24 hours, and I'll run another one tomorrow. The poll is public.
So make your vote and your case why that option would do the Blazers the least good.
I hope this will be fun.

Lopez...
Surprised to see Augustin go so early...I don't think he would be the ideal PG for POR, but I would have taken him before Lopez...
As long as POR has Oden, Pryzbilla & Aldridge, I don't see much need for Lopez at all..although drafting him could open the door for Pryzbilla to be dealt...

I guess I'll keep voting for Love until he's gone...

Re: Blazers NBA Draft 2008 Survivor: Round 3
This is getting tougher.
I went with Lopez, as the guy I would least want *as a Blazer*. In a draft-and-trade scenario, I would have gone another direction.

I voted Gallinari since he said he would not come over unless it was to the New York area.

Re: Blazers NBA Draft 2008 Survivor: Round 3
Gallinari first said he would only play for teams in the NY area, but I just saw an article saying that if he doesn't get a guarantee from one of the NY area teams soon that he'll start working out for other teams. That tells me that his first statement was a bluff and he is willing to play for other teams. I'm quite willing to call his bluff. I'd pick him at 5. I agree with the person in the first round who said that Love won't be a star and we have no playing timee at PF for him. He is my choice until he is gone.

Re: Blazers NBA Draft 2008 Survivor: Round 3
I voted for Lopez. He'll never be more than a role player... and we already have Greg and Joel. No need for Lopez.

I voted for Love again for the same reasons I posted last time.
