My buddy just texted me saying he heard KP on 95.5 talking about trades coming to light in the next couple of days. Did anyone else hear this interview? Is he just talking about the details of the already proposed trades or what?

I think he is just taking about Bayless et al. He can't talk about it for a while, so he need to assure the public that the rumors they have heard were correct. Just my guess.

If we view Ike as a capable backup, I could see us moving Webster and Frye in a deal for a vet SF. I love both players, but they are both going to be huge capholds next season and will likley have to be let walk if we want to sign a big FA.

We don't need an all-star at every position. Just the right role players/complimentary players. We have a great roster. They are young, have small contracts, have great chemistry and just want to be here.

I don't think we have to worry about having all stars at every position. Even with Bayless, Roy (in theory) in the backcourt, and LaMarcus and Oden as the PF and C, I think thats 1 or 2 All Stars. All Star level talent, but not necessarily all stars.

The Indiana trade can't be announced until the new salaries take effect on July 1st

Neither can the deal with Batum be officially announced until then.

There might be a minor deal coming, but I think that's all it is.
