nice post...Im not entirely sure what you are saying here...
If there is one thing Zach does effectively it is putting points up on the board. Trading him for Hinrich would be a good deal for both teams. Especially since Hinrich and another junker contract would be enough to meet Zach's ridiculous amount that he is owed.
If it is Sacramento i dont know what NY would want...Artest? That seems like too much for Sactown to part with, although Artest said today that it was a HUGE mistake to take his extension in Sacramento this year, so maybe the change of scenery would do him well. After all, when has the Knick locker room NOT been a good environment? Im sure Artest wouldnt bring down the troops too much...

hey,
I'm just not too fond of players that can only play offensive, but I'm torn because we really, really need offensive post scoring. guess I'm just not a fan of Zach.

Meh, what else is new. If Zach did go to the bulls, he would fill your post presence - at least on the stat sheet offensively- however he wont necessarily be a solid locker room guy or defensive minded player. At least so far the two teams that he has been on (Portland, NY) he has eventually burned all of his bridges with the fans, management, etc; although, he never really had a chance in NY, that team is a mess. But for all of his issues and gripes people have about him, i will admit that he is a SOLID power forward in this league and would be the Bull's best post option despite his inadequacies.

Since I don't hate the Bulls I can say without hesitation that Paxson would be the biggest sucker in the world to trade anything of value for Z-bo. On the other hand if you were a L*kers fan I'd say go get 'em.

Noah and Hinrich with another junker contract for Zach would be a good deal IMO.

Re: OT: Zach Randolph
That would be a great deal for NY. Just awesome for NY.
But HORRIBLE for the bulls.

Re: OT: Zach Randolph
IDK man, it depends what CHI is looking for.
Zach is a cancer. A black hole on offense, no defense, isn't a great character guy, and isn't good off the court.
Maybe you take a chance on him, but add the fact that he has a horrid contract... well...
The bulls have something good started with Rose and Deng, imo.
I know the fans were talking about trading the sixth pick overall in the draft along with Zach, and saying it might be worth it to get rid of Zach, as it might be one of the only ways to ditch him.

you dont think they are AT ALL willing to try Zach out with an extremely crowded backcourt? Hughes gets paid 12m+ over the next 3 years too, so you wanna talk bad contracts well there you go...
Rose, Duhon, Hinrich, Hughes, Gordon, Sefalosha, Brown are already there...
look at what they have in the post...
Gooden, Thomas, Noah, Simmons
that is not much to shout about at all, which is why giving up Hughes (who is garbage now for 12m year over 3 more years) and Noah(Goofy looking Pothead) for Zach isnt necessarily a bad deal at all for Chicago.

In what way is Randolph a cancer? He's overpaid and doesn't play defense, that's true. He is what he is...a good scorer in the post and a good rebounder. If he also played good defense, he'd be worth a lot more than Hinrich and a bad contract.
Hinrich is no great shakes and plays a position they just drafted their expected long-term solution. The moment Rose becomes a starter, Hinrich loses most of his value to Chicago. I think a post scorer and rebounder would help them win more.

Re: OT: Zach Randolph
I think Zach could fit in well in the right team- it's just a matter of how you use him. His defense will never be good, but he can score in the post like few other players and rebounds well. If he was with Cleveland, he'd get one on one coverage pretty often and would score almost automatically. But, he kind of needs to be paired with a good defensive center, so I'm not sure if he'd fit well in Cleveland.
