Re: I keep hearing how the Blazers want to add a SF...
+/- stat breakdowns show that Outlaw is a terrible defensive player and has a very bad affect on the teams rebounding when in the game. He also takes more shots per min than anyone else on the team. Outlaw is young, talented, and has a low salary so he should have good trade value. Webster has the lowest +/- affect of anyone on the team that played more than 1000 min last year and is still on the team. Webster is also young and talented so he should have some trade value. I would be fine with trading both for future assets such as draft picks. This would give us leverage in future trades. Players I would like to pick up at SF are Ryan Gomes, Josh Childress, Luol Deng (dream), or James Jones. We don’t need star SF just an efficient player that does not need a lot of shots. If a star does become available at the trade deadline we will be happy about the trade assets we collect moving players like Outlaw and Webster.
