Re: Anyone listening to The Game right now?
I think the bigger question is, why can't anyone take him for his word ?
I've thought about this. I think we as Blazer fans have been lied, misled and maybe embarrassed that we are all too hypersinsitive to anything that sounds on the up and up. Nate is old school. What if Jerry Sloan said the same thing ? If Sloan said something like this as a outsider to the Jazz i wouldn't think anything of it and think Sloan was being honest.
Believe it or not, I actually think there are still a few ( Not many ) stand up men who have morals and values. Look at Nates' body of work before you ask if he is guilty or not.
I hope and think he is setting a great example by what he said and is doing. Why is it that we all love BRoy ? Maybe Nate is sending a message, maybe not.

Again though, why does it matter? I think McMillan has been a fine coach for this team but it's not like there hasn't been some debate -- he's not walking on water here. And even if he were.... Let's say Jackson does the same thing with the Lakers. Does that matter any more to fans, Laker or otherwise?
I'm not trying to suggest coaches don't matter but there are a lot of good ones out there, there's no salary cap for coaches, the team is full of promise, and Paul Allen's writing the checks.

And Dan, I'd be giving you much harder time about this from our previous Game vs. Fan debate, save that, yet again, the Fan has baseball on. It burns me to lose these debates before they even start.

Well, he did sit out a year. I suppose he could go sign for big money in Europe.

Dang, I know you're joking but... wow. The lead assistant would certainly be in an interesting position and, much like my recent "Crazy PF Idea" it's probably got more wrong with it than right but it sure does appeal to a part of me.

Re: Anyone listening to The Game right now?
Personally, I'm amazed he was offered the chance to extend.
I'm still waiting to see if he can develop these guys into an entertaining, offensive juggernaut ala Walton and company. He certainly has been given a more complete team of talent than Ramsey had.

Re: Anyone listening to The Game right now?
Canzano is just being objective and sharing his opinion. God forbid he isn't biased like Barret or agree with some of you.

More like he is the one trying to shake it.

And his opinion seems to be that McMillan's lack of interest in talking about an extension right now is having some kind of negative impact on fan psyche, but even if he's right, how is it an issue?
