c who would you rather have now batum or greene. i knew what i was talkin about
Greene? Wait is this a trick question?
Just kidding, I still think with a lot of work Batum has shot to develop his weaknesses (shooting and assertiveness), and exploit his strengths (great athleticism, court awareness, and defense).
I've been watching Batum on defense. His awareness is top-notch. He always looks at passing lanes, moves his arms, stays in front of people, and is just a flat out good defender.
Because Batum was first round pick, they have to sign him, if that is what he wants. Kop is probably more level headed and doesn't want to force the Blazers to sign him if they are not ready. For some reason, Batum doesn't care. I seems that he wants to be here no matter what.
Too bad, I would sign Kop and send Batum to Europe for four years.
If you have 15 guys signed, you probably have no need to sign a vet to fill holes. Crap that is a lot of players, remember the Blazers used to make due every year with 12, and keep one on the "Gastritus" list!
