Just a heads up, i think we are less than 2 weeks away from the release of the schedule and I read this online...
The 2008-09 NBA season will start with a bang. ESPN will televise its first ever regular season triple-header on Wednesday, October 29, with games at 5:30, 8:00 and 10:30 PM. The tripleheader could air opposite Game 6 of the World Series. The season officially begins the night before on TNT.
Good. We can finally figure out that first home game against the Lakers and circle that day on my calender. DaRizzle is going to be sporting black and red for a week (that is, if he can keep himself out of trouble).
i think with the addition of Bayless, Rudy and having Oden back has a lot of NBA fans around the country wanting to see this team. I think it would be smart for the league to have the trailblazers as a part of that triple header and playing prime time games. Just like last year (POR vs SEA) even though it didn't work out the way the league would have wanted. I will still be getting the NBA league pass here in DC but the more games on ESPN and ABC would be nice. Especially if they against east coast teams and start earlier then 10pm.
