Re: Rudy a "rotation player"?
Rick : Nick Young, starting to light it up!
Snapper : He just hit one shot in a row. How is that lighting it up?

I don't think anyone is arguing that. The problem is that the "not knowing much about Rubio" comment destroys any credibility he might have had (and his clownish commentating during the Summer League doesn't help).

Re: Rudy a "rotation player"?
yeah kamla is the fanasty nbatv guy he watches little to no international hoops and always hypes up the stars of the league, his twolves and the big markets.

I watch NBATV quite a bit, and I think the guy knows quite a bit about hoops, contrary to what you folks are saying. He may not be a play by play guy, and he may talk guys up a bit, but over all, I don't think his basketball IQ is lacking.

It isn't a matter of negative or positive, it's a matter of credibility. If I bashed Brandon Roy and then offered no opinion on LMA because "I hadn't really watched him much" what would you think of my opinion of Roy? They're teammates, they've played two seasons together, if you haven't seen much Aldridge how could you have formed such a strong opinion of Roy? It doesn't make much sense and it sounds just like every other East coast reporter who talks about the Blazers after only watching maybe three or four games a season.

Hey let's give Rick Kamla a break, guys. In addition to being one really cool cat, he's one of the most intelligent and well-informed people talking on behalf of the NBA today. I like him a lot.

Re: Rudy a "rotation player"?
Well I won't get into his basketball knowledge, but he does seem like a really enthusiastic and genuine kinda guy with love for the game, so I really don't mind Rick Kamla.

Re: Rudy a "rotation player"?
Nate McMillan will be coaching in Europe before Sergio ends up playing there.
"some guy from NBAtv" = idiot.

Oh, come on, you are just being mean to Sergio. He might not be a real NBA player - but there will be a team in Europe that could use him...
