Opening night is at the L*kers. I believe it's on the 28th if I remember correctly. Our home opener will be "scary" if that gives you any hint to when that will be.

Pfft. Scary. I think not. Oden is going to HANDLE Bynum. And unless the refs already have it in the pocket for the Lakers (which isn't out of the realm of possibility), Roy and Rudy will neutralize Kobe, and an energized LaMarcus will drop 35 on Odom.
That Staples Center crowd will see the future, and it won't be pretty for them.

Oct 31st or Nov 1st is the usual historical date for the first NBA games of the season, so you are probably right.

MM said our "HOME OPENER" in on Halloween, not our first game of the season. All rumors indicate that is @ LA Lakers.
Last year our first game was @ San Antonio on Oct. 30th.

ooh...if its the lakers, i may have floor seats to greg oden's NBA debut. 
however, if that falls through (my connection might sell his season ticket)....I definitely think an LA get-together at a bar or even us buying a block of tickets would be really good. Witness history in brotherhood!

Schedule released apparently, but I can't find it. We open on TNT in LA on October 28th, then at home against San Antonio on October 31st.

Looking at it, it's incredibly unbalanced. A ton of road games to start the season, a ton of home games in the middle, then a ton of road games at the end of the season. Doesn't sound fun to me. |
