I think you're getting a little too upset. No one said they wouldn't be a factor. However, they would've been a factor without Malone and Payton.

The question is, how much more of a factor will they be now? Certainly it's valid to claim they'll be unstoppable. Maybe they will be. I think it's equally reasonable to note that jamming a bunch of great players together doesn't always yield the results expected.

As i said Jackie. We are all entitled to our opinion. I happen to like their chances a great deal.

One thing i believe many of you are overlooking is the fact that Karl and Payton were asked to do it all for their teams last year. This year it will not be the case. They will have tremendous backup from 3 other hall of famers. So all those air balls you saw from Karl could very well be far and few between. His legs will be freasher. He will be rejuvanated. So will Payton, Shaq, and Kobe. The effect each will have on the other in the long run will be incredible.
