Question: let's say I don't predict tonight's game since I'm in first place - how much would that affect me since it would still mean I've predicted 80% of the games? Am I likely to stay in first place or will I drop a lot? Just wondering.

Well if you are lucky you'll be a backing in Laker fan with the win, but if not you'll lose as you should! Show some balls!
Actually I tried it once and loss, but I don't think I had the lead you do, not sure.

Its based on your average ranking so its a good thing to not predict sometimes. With the Blazers wining the 2nd game of the series it made it so you are allowed to skip a prediction for whatever reason(since it wouldnt be a sweep). You HAD a pretty kick *** average...not so much after your prediction tonight I would suspect. There is no punishment for skipping a game UNLESS there is a tie then the person with more predictions wins. So in other words predicting less games wont affect you as long as you qualify with the minimum amount of predictions. Get it?
PS...Your lucky, I would have predicted a low scoring game tonight. I was in Vegas and forgot to predict this one since I was driving home

Looking at some other predictions, I think I should still be in good shape since nobody had a really low scoring result. We'll see what happens once Gramps logs on and posts the results.
Ya, I think you made a good prediction and will maintain your lead if not make it bigger. Thinking about it if you thought the Blazers were going to lose then it would have been a good idea to sit out this game otherwise it's probably good that you did predict the Blazers winning and you might want to sit out the next one. I doubt Gramps would tell you if you had a big enough lead to sit it out though.
