OT: Where Will Isiah Thomas End Up?
Personally, I could see him well received and be relativley successful in Atlanta.
Even though Thomas is a crappy coach, he's got that "name" which would go a loing way in putting the Hawks back on the landscape.
Why do I post shallow threads such as this?
Because I'm Freakin' Bored Outa My Mind!!
....that's why.
OK, well, I've been know to do that even when I'm not bored, so......nevermind.

Some network will pick him up to do some face work. Then he will fade out and all you'll hear is rumors about him buying into some team like you hear about the Magic man. I don't think he'll coach again unless it's a team that is rebuilding and can take on a throw-away coach.

I hope with the Pistons, as long as he doesn't bring O'Neal down there.

I see him going to the Charlotte Bobcats next year. This coming up week is Jordans desicion to be part of basketball operations and possibly co-owner. I think with Thomas being availuble and knowing Jordan's smart business mind he'll sign Thomas to a coaching deal. Him and Thomas are said to believe to be good friends. If not Thomas and Jordan is still part of the team he'll bring back someone from the past as he did with Collins.

Old friends? Did you follow anything that lead up to the All-Star game?
And all the side stories?

I really liked his idea some years ago of turning the CBA into an NBA minor league system. It's incredible how few all-around skills todays players have. Also, it'd be a good training ground for NBA officials.

Yeah, admittedly not knowing much about it, the NBADL (or whatever it's called) seems like a lame substitute to the CBA.
Didn't the CBA have a gimmick in that getting to the Playoffs was based on a points system (kinda like the NHL) and that teams got points for winning quarters, as well as games? I guess it was meant to keep teams from slacking - even if they were up by 30, or whatever.
Brutal.

Wouldn't that be ironic!!! And what would even be funnier, is if he met the Pacers in the playoffs and knocked them out!

Ah yeah, funnier... a front line of Wallace, O'Neal, Darko... Hamilton and Billups bringing it up, yes real funny and scary.
