I sent in two emails.
One about Patterson, and the other about Steve Smith.

Here are mine. Be interesting to see if they get used:
What's Pete Pranica up to now? I really liked the guy and was sorry to see him leave.
Was Erin Hubert's departure something that she's been open about for a while, or is it a response to her not getting offered the job of President?
Do they really expect that Jerome Kersey could've prevented Patterson getting punched, Stoudemire getting busted (multiple times) or Qyntel showing a cop his trading card while being "addicted to pot"? I don't. Seems to me that he's just being used as a PR tool. If you hire nutjobs, they are going to behave like nutjobs.
Does Sheed really hate playing center?
Do you agree with this Cheeks comment: ""And Drobnjak would be a better center than Rasheed." http://www.oregonlive.com/blazers/or...2665194880.xml

The hawks are shopping Shareef abdul Rahim and we could get him cheap , he only has 2 years left on his deal . Da and ruben and 1st rounder for Rahim , Zach Sheed and Rahim would be scary in the same lineup

To: Courtside@blazers.com

IMO, asking the Courtside crew "ideas that could work" is a huge waste of time! I just want 'real rumors' or something of that nature...but these "Could Patterson/DA for...so and so work?" is waste of air time.

My question...
"I was wondering if you have any idea what Travis outlaw has been doing, a friend of mine who attends Jesuit high school said that many of his friends there have been hanging out with him... Seems good, hopefully he hangs with the "right crowd" and doesn't get influenced by any of the blazers and their "habits." Supposedly he likes portland better then Mississippi, which I think is good, because he wants to be here. Do you think he can develope into at least a good player/community member which is what we are looking for?"

umm....no. Probably not even possible...please don't ask Courtside that question, it'll waste precious Air time on 'just an idea'

Good idea getting SAR..... wish I had thought of that
But it will take more than DA and Ruben...

I think that is the ticket on any trade for Portland. I don't see the money being the problem so much as the length of the contract. I still believe that Portland is in a two year rebuilding process, the both Damon and Rasheed's contracts will be off the books.
