Your All-Time Blazer Team
Well this is my very first post here at BasketballBoards and I am a huge Blazer fan even though I live all the way over here in Connecticut. I wanna start my first post off strong and I wanna know what would your All-Time All Blazers team consist of? Pick either 5 or 12 players, starters and bench players and one coach.
1. Clyde Drexler
2. Bill Walton
3. Terry Porter
4. Buck Williams
5. Kevin Duckworth
Close Calls: Recent guys, Pippen, Arvydas, 'Sheed, Zbo.
What would u say?

Is this a joke or what?
First off, welcome to the board and I hope that you enjoy your stay. however I would think about changing your screen name as many here on this board are going to take offense to it.
My Blazer team would be.......
Walton/Sabas
Lucas/Wallace
Kiki/Pippen
Drexler/Wells
Porter/Paxon

Point Guard: Terry Porter / Rod Strickland
Shooting Guard: Clyde Drexler / Steve Smith
Small Forward: Scottie Pippen / Kiki Vandeweghe / Clifford Robinson
Power Forward: Rasheed Wallace / Maurice Lucas / Buck Williams
Center: Bill Walton / Arvydas Sabonis
Clifford Robinson may not be a popular pick (I don't get the sense he's well thought-of around these parts due to his playoff performances), but he had such a lot of talent and versatility.

This is my "best at each position" list.
PG: Porter
SG: Drexler
SF: Petrie (can I count him as a 3? If not, Pippen)
PF: Rasheed
C: Walton
I think the following team would give my "baep" team a run for its money... it has more role players but not the scoring the top team has:
PG: Strickland
SG: Paxson (or Petrie, if not allowed above)
SF: Pippen (or Kersey, if Petrie's not allowed above)
PF: Lucas (or maybe Buck)
C: Sabonis
Ed O.

I think Wallace is underappreciated, especially if we're assuming primes...Wallace in 1999-2000, as I recall, drew pretty much unanimous acclaim from Portland fans as the best power forward in franchise history. People were even comparing him to Shawn Kemp in his prime.

This is a toughy.
PG: Porter and Hollins.
SG: Geoff and Clyde.
SF: Natt , with Jerome a distant second
PF: Lucas, Buck, and Sheed
C: Steve Johnson and Mychal Thompson.
As a bonus, how about a team of "best players who weren't in their prime when in Portland."

Pippen
