Thank the heavens you aren't a GM. Hansbrough is a good college player, but look at how much energy and effort the guy has to put forward to score. I can only imagine how much harder it will be for him in the NBA when every player guarding him has a much longer wingspan.

Re: Tyler Hansbrough
I predicted Loren Woods to turn into a solid NBA big man. Seeing as how Woods isnt even good enough to stay in the league, I dont make predictions on college players anymore.

Re: Tyler Hansbrough
Id say hes a mid first round pick, probably just out the lotto. Sucks for him - coz hes putting up lottery type numbers, but he wont translate those numbers to the pros. Whoever gets him knows what theyre getting - a solid big man who can rebound and score. Could be a starter one day, but dont expect more than a Haslem type player.

Re: Tyler Hansbrough
towards the end of a lottery if a team needs a PF he is a good pick
i think he is underrated when it comes to draft rankings
with that tenicity(SP?) he can play anywhere and he is at least 6'8
maybe 6'9 so he isn't really undersized

Re: Tyler Hansbrough
he wont be much more then a 7-8th guy in the rotation of a team but i believe he will have a long career in nba avg to below avg production throughout his career.

Re: Tyler Hansbrough?
I would take in the bottom of the Lottery. He is a special player that will find a way to be a very good player. I think he can be a 15 and 8 guy consistently...If he is on the right team. He would seem to needed as a starter because of his style.

Re: Tyler Hansbrough
He's getting doubled/tripled more and more and with Lawson out, he's shouldering more and more, yet his points are climbing, he's at the FT line constantly, he continues to outwork people... He's not even listed in certain mock drafts for this coming year. He's going at like bottom of the first is next year's draft in one mock I know of. Anyone change thinking more highly of this guy?

I think he is a late lottery type pick. His tenacity is contagious and his non-stop motor can provide big dividends to the right team. I see him as a qulaity 6th man for much of his NBA career, and maybe a starter on a bad team.

Re: Tyler Hansbrough
he's just not an nba prospect. he's not going to get to the line as easily in the nba because he won't be wearing a north carolina jersey anymore. and he is undersized for an nba post player but doesn't have the skills to step out on the perimeter. he'll probably be some kind of 1st round pick, but he will not be a successful nba player.

Re: Tyler Hansbrough
Still not a fan. You know if he was a 7'0 center he'd be in constant foul trouble. None of the 7'0 guys are allowed to bang like he is for some reason.
