Re: Tyler Hansbrough
Is there really no way he can be a Nick Collison type? Reggie Evans even?

Re: Tyler Hansbrough
Collison is one of the most fundamental players in the league. He's can shoot jump hooks with either hand and he's a Kurt Thomas type on defense. Hardly comparable to Hanbrough, who's a lot more explosive and athletic than everyone here is giving him credit for.

Re: Tyler Hansbrough
Have to agree with HKF and others, as much as you root for the hustle guy his game doesnt translate to the NBA, I like the Najera comparison.

Re: Tyler Hansbrough
Poor mans Mark Madsen? Nuts. I hate Tyler, but he is going to at least be a Najera type.

Re: Tyler Hansbrough
We'll see. I stick by my assessment. He has very little in the way of skills, athleticism, or size. He's going to be that guy that the home crowd cheers for at the end of blowouts so that the coach will put him in.

Re: Tyler Hansbrough
He has both skills and athlecism. As much as I hate to say it, I would be suprised if he didnt get 8 points and 4 boards as a rook.

Re: Tyler Hansbrough
To be the National PoY...id imagine you need to have some skill. I know he doesnt project as the best pro by any stretch, but Mark Madsen? Thats low. I dont see why he cant be good for 20 or so mins a night - even just for hustle and putbacks.

Re: Tyler Hansbrough
Corliss Williamson was national player of the year. So was JJ Redick. What does that even mean? It has nothing to do with whether or not a person will succeed in the pros.
