Ronald Steele
I'm surprised people aren't talking about him more. He's a 6'2" PG. He can shoot. He's a solid passer. NBADraft has him going in the Top 20

I saw him a little tonight in the San Juan Shootout against Iowa. He's a good ball player. Anyone else like/dislike him?

Re: Ronald Steele
Would love for the Sixers to get him though they really need a good PF and there should be a bunch of those in this draft.

Re: Ronald Steele
NBADraft has you guys picking McRoberts I bet you love that. Haha.
I'm sorry that this is off topic, but what happened to Louis Williams, bostonwr? Steele a slightly better Williams?

Absolutely nothing alike.
Steele is has a big body and doesn't mind getting physical. He can shoot well and has excellent court vision. He is also clutch. His only problem is that he doesn't wow you athletically but he can make all the right moves. He just lacks explosion. I think he is going to be an effective and efficient pro.

Re: Ronald Steele
Sorry. I saw Williams once in a high school all-star game. He chucked it up everytime he touched it. Steele doesn't seem like that kind of player.

Williams keeps the bench nice and warm for when AI gets his 2 minute breather each game. I guess it was OK to take a risk on him in the 2nd round but he hasn't shown much up to this point and I know a lot of people thought he was overrated in High School.
As for McRoberts, yeah that would be ironic huh? Though to be honest, my problem isn't with his potential, I just need to see some production first. If he produces this year, I'll have no problem if the Sixers grab him.

Re: Ronald Steele
I love this guy, He would be PERFECT for the Hawks. He's pretty quick, has good poise, and has good size. I see him being a Mo Williams in the future.

Re: Ronald Steele
I've seen a couple of his games this year and I don't think he looks to score enough. I think if he started to focus just a little bit more on his offensive game it could do nothing but rise his stock.

Thats defenitly a knock on him. He has good offensive tools but is very unselfish. He's struggling early this season also.

Re: Ronald Steele
Steele has never really gotten a chance to improve his stock much this season after his ankle injury. He's sat out 3 games and has really been nothing more than a set up man in the offense for a few weeks now. I really wish him the best because he's one of my favorite players.

Re: Ronald Steele
Looking like he should have come out a year ago. Injuries are hurting him. | |
