As for Thabeet obviously he would be picked by some team but it wouldnt be by me. Keep up the good work.

Rainman thanks for the love hey I never take things personal just a little frustrated that's all. Even then I'm never mad again thanks for the compliments...

Re: Hasheem Thabeet

Don't be suprised to see HT declare and test the draft waters. If he is a mid-1st round pick to above, he probably is most likely gone. Word out of CT is that his family's financial condition isn't all that solid. He certainly could use another year (probably 2) of seasoning, but no one can fault him if he is a 1st round pick.

Honestly, that would be the worst pick in the history of the draft. Any GM that drafts him in the mid first round of this draft proves that I could do their job right now.

Exactly. If Thabeet came out and was selected in the 1st round he'll have made a fantastic choice coming out, sured up his families financial future for a few generations at least. It shouldn't be the kids fault for striking while the iron is hot and making the most of his situation.

Yep, sometimes you declare before your lack of true upside is exposed. Thabeet will never be a rotational player on a good NBA team IMO.

If Diop can be a rotation guy on an NBA Finals team, Thabeet can.

I've seen nothing to suggest he's in a class with Diop.

Thabeet, UConn consider options

Quote:
STORRS — An Internet report Friday announced that UConn center Hasheem Thabeet would be entering the NBA Draft. That was news to the 7-foot-3 freshman.

"I was surprised myself to see that on the Internet," Thabeet said Friday of the story posted on nbadraft.net. "I haven't talked to anybody about it."

Thabeet, who averaged 6.2 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.8 blocks during his freshman season, said he still hasn't decided if he'll return to Storrs or depart after just one season.

"I'm still taking my time, talking to coaches and seeing where I'll go," Thabeet said.
