WOW!
I just assumed that he would sit out the season and stopped following the situation. I wonder how this changes his 2007 draft elgibility...if it does at all.

According to Andy Katz he can't declare until 2008 since it has to be a year after HS graduation, and he graduated from HS in October.

I thought the NBA used calendar years re: draft elgibility. Meaning if you graduated in 2006 you would be elgible in 2007, much like as long as your birthday was in the calendar year of the draft to determine your elgibility.

If the NBA tries that they're going to lose that rule, as Walker will be over 19 and have played a season of college basketball by the 2007 draft. That being said, I expect him to play well, and can't see the NBA fighting to keep him out of the draft.

I think he will provide a lot of highlight reel type plays. He REALLY needs to work on his offensive game though. He definitely needs 2 years.
