Richard Roby
Richard Roby is a 6 foot 5 inch Junior Shooting Guard for Colorado. He was in the last draft process, so he has an idea of what he needs to work on in order to become a first round draft pick. He is a good athlete and has the same father as Kenyon Martin; however, he has a slender build and will have difficulty putting on more than his 200 pounds to withstand the NBA pounding.
His has the shooting stroke and defensive ability to make it in the NBA, but he needs to overcome his inconsistent performances.
Current mocks have him #31 (DE) and #25 (nbadraft.net)

Re: Richard Roby
I loved Roby last year, but this year I've watched him and he's disappointed me. Its still early, but it almost seems like he's regressed.

Re: Richard Roby
His stock tumbled the past couple of years, but he's bounced back nicely this year with Bzdelik. His shooting numbers, especially from outside, are excellent. He won't go undrafted.

Re: Richard Roby
With a name like Rick Roby he's destined to be a Celtic... and then get traded to Phoenix for an all star guard with personal problems.

Re: Richard Roby
I have watched him alot, and he is a definite NBA prospect. I dont think he will be a starter, but he has a chance to be a decent bench scorer. I see him going in the 35-45 range. His athleticism will impress in workouts.
People have to remember the rest of the Colorado basketball team, minus Roby, would probably loose to some Colorado High School teams. They are absolutely atrocious. Trying to watch Roby is almost unbearable because you have to watch his teammates, and that is like getting herpies.
