Sean Singletary
University of Virginia point guard. The best point guard in the country right now. Can do it all, amazing speed, can get into the lane at will. Very good passer, high bball IQ. Very good athelete, actually on the college level not many flaws to his game. I figure if Dominic James and Ronald Steele are getting some talk as NBA prospects, a better player than both should also get that type of talk.

Re: Sean Singletary
He's playing at a very high level right now, but you gotta shoot better than 38% from the floor at 5'11.

Re: Sean Singletary
Reminds me a lot of a slightly taller Jameer Nelson. Both guys have great handles, play low to the ground, and can finish at the rim over much bigger players.

Re: Sean Singletary
For me, it's just hard to watch him play. Virginia isn't on enough.

Re: Sean Singletary
He's pretty spectacular to watch, but I just don't know about him in the pro's. He's such a fantastic ballhandler and can really fill it up. It's to bad Virginia couldn't get him some help at any time during his 4 years there.

Re: Sean Singletary
He's pretty much a lock IMO to step right in and play good basketball on the next level. I still think Eric Maynor is better than him though.

I really don't see how he's really improved over the last year. His apg are up, but his a/to is down. His FG% is up to a career high 42% (which is low for any position), but he's also only shooting 36% from 3.
I'm guessing that he'll have to go back to Orlando again this summer. He'll have more seniority among guys there and should have more of a chip on his shoulder. With the lack of PG depth outside the lottery and his NBA-readiness, despite his flaws, he shouldn't go undrafted; I'd guess he ends up top half of the 2nd. He should be able to stick as offensive energizing backup point; if not, he'll be a star in Europe, a la Willie Solomon.
