I don't know how this is almost a year since the previous post, but I wanted to revisit it after the big upset by Providence over UConn. Yeah McDermott doesn't score a lot (unless he is asked to), but there is something to be said about a 6'8 guy who can handle the ball and pass the way he can. He is very impressive. I think people need to start looking at this guy because wherever he is drafted I think he will play in the league for many years. He is kinda like Bonzi Wells, but he has so many skills that are desirable.
Court vision, mid-range jumper, unselfish, good defender, high Bball IQ, and is an obvious SF. It's almost like being in Providence is keeping his game under wraps (similar to Ryan Gomes).
Oh and Weyinmi Efejuku is also a baller (pretty cool sidenote is that I used to always kick him out of the room when me and his brother would play Nintendo after school when we went to Elementary school in Queens). Who would have guessed he would grow up into an NBA prospect?
