Re: JaVale McGee
14.4ppg, 7.4rpg, and 3.4bpg in 25.8mpg, including an impressive 19/9/6blk against Cal's frontcourt, so far.

Re: JaVale McGee
He plays in a god awful system. My goodness, do the guards ever pass to the big man?
This guy has serious potential. He is a first rounder when he comes out, and if not, some team will be getting a steal. I like his shot blocking ability too, the way he skies reminds me of a certain BC player doing nicely in the league right now

no. that guard of theirs just bulls into the lane and throws up junk, leaving mcgee to get 90% of his point cleaning up the mess. long, athletic and decent moves down lo. i like him alot. also liked that dunk he had towards the end of the game tonight.

Re: JaVale McGee
He's looked pretty good tonight. Athleticism was pretty good, hands weren't bad from what I've seen, and the guy is REALLY long.

Haha, pretty much. Another thing I noticed about that system is that the only way McGee gets the ball into his hands on offense is if he's going out to the high post or the three point line. As a result, he took more long jumpers than he should have, cause he didn't seem him getting the ball inside. It's like the Wolfpack still think Nick Fazekas is on their team.

Re: JaVale McGee
I think he'd be a top 20 pick if he came out this summer, but I don't think he's jumping just yet. Kemp will be gone, but Reno has two great frosh coming in next fall in Babbitt and McLaughlin that may still prevent him from getting many touches. It's obvious that he's already a good defender, and that's how he'll make his future millions, but I'm sure everyone wants to see more of him offensively. If he comes back and gets silly on offense, getting 20ppg or so, we could see him easily jump into the top 10 in '09.
