Ivan Radenovic
Ivan Radenovic is a 6 foot 10 inch, 240 pound senior PF from Arizona. Originally from Serbia, in his 4 seasons at 'Zona he improved his FG%, rebounding and passing finishing with 15.1 PPG, 7.6 RPG and 2.1 APG.
Ivan has a pretty good BBall IQ, is fundamentally sound with above average ball handling skills for the position and is generally considered a glue guy. However, he is at best an average athlete for his position. He isn't fast, doesn't move well laterally and isn't strong. He has a solid face up game with range out to the the college 3 point line and does a good job on help defense.
Defense is going to be a problem for him in the NBA as he'll PF's that are both stronger and quicker than him.

Re: Ivan Radenovic
Ivan will be an interesting guy to keep a tab on. He can shoot, has good handles for his size, is effective on the block, does not shy away from rebounding, has a lot of moves, and can score in mulitple ways. The problem is he isnt very quick or fast, he isnt athletic enough to play the 3, and needs to get stronger to post up as a 4. He would fit in very well with a hi-low offense, because of his shooting ability and passing. Depending on what team or system he is in, he can stick in the L.

Re: Ivan Radenovic
lol, not many complimentary Ivan vids on youtube...
Getting stuffed by 5'11 Aaron Brooks:
<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZSS7jmuPO-g"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZSS7jmuPO-g" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
Scalabrine agreeing that he's soft (at the end):
<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/FwD9DdaG0X8"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/FwD9DdaG0X8" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
As far as Songalia comparisons, I'm not sure he's as strong or as effective in the post. For being known as an offensive-oriented Euro big, Darius didn't shoot many threes in college; far less than Ivan.
6'10+ guys than can shoot with range will always draw interest in the league. It's also not like that's the only thing he can do on the court; he can do a lot of other things, I'm just not sure how the other skills will translate. If Scalabrine and Bonner can stay in the NBA, so can Ivan.

Songaila has more energy, is a little more athletic, better on the block, and is more aggressive. Ivan is better faced up on the wing or high post, has a better shot and range, and is a better passer.
