Luke Harangody
Notre Dame Forward. 6'8 PF 251 lbs
http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/...arangody-5063/
What's crazy is this guy is only 20 years old and a sophomore and is seriously in contention for player of the year. I really don't know how to evaluate his game, he is the type of guy that you don't expect to be so good but he really gets the job done. I figure the height might be an issue, but I also believe if Love is being viewed as a lottery pick, this guy shouldn't be far behind. He is kinda similar to Hansbrough, in that they both love to throw their weight around. Dude has massive shoulders. I think towards the late end of the draft some team will give him a call up.

Re: Luke Harangody
Linas Kleiza and Glen Davis are making me a believer in guys that are built like refrigerators. But its still pretty unclear.

Re: Luke Harangody
Very difficult to evaluate. I have no idea what to make of him in the NBA. I wouldn't be the guy to draft him, he's not the prototypical player you take a risk on. I'd want him competing on my summer league roster though.

Re: Luke Harangody
Luke's actually pretty light on his feet for his size. His length is a concern, but his productivity is impressive. There have been tons of 6'8, 250lb college beasts, that aren't shotblockers, that couldn't stick in the league, so the odds of him thriving there aren't very good. He and Brockman would probably make better NFL tight ends than NBA PFs.
He would really have to blow up his stats next year (25ppg, 12rpg), or really expand his game (consistent 3pt threat, more passing/playmaking) to get him out of late-1st round status.

He is averaging right around 25 PPG, and 12 RPG in BE play right now. He will never average that over a season though because our offense is guard oriented. He is a beast though and is as good as any PF in college basketball (sans Beasley who is in a whole other realm).
