Re: Joe Alexander
If you believe Joe Alexander can't play D, then you know nothing about basketball
As for him being inconsistent, lets break down his season
1) As of last April, Joe had zero post moves and absolutely horrible foot work
2) As the season started, Joe was still learning a completely new position and how to play in the post while the entire WVU team was learning how to play a different offensive system
3) He suffered a significant groin injury that severely limited his effectiveness
4) He got healthy, he improved his post game and the WVU team started to get what Huggins wanted them to do.
This is not the case of someone getting hot at the right time. Rather it is the result of a very methodical progression.

Re: Joe Alexander
Wouldn't be surprised if the guy enters the draft, but doesn't hire an agent. Gauge to see where he is and then come back next year dominating. He's a nice talent.

5) I actually knew who joe alexander was long before the big east tournament started.
it's easy to watch a guy you never heard of all of a sudden get hot and then get on his jock, but would you know more than the guy who's been watching that same guy before he got national attention??of course not.
it's alright if you dont give a damn, but refute with facts and opinions, don't hate just cause i dont post on a particular forum in here everyday......sorry i'm busy making money doing stuff like that in real life.

Nah, Isiah's actually a pretty good drafter, it's the rest of the job that he sucks at.

hell no, and if i were counseling him, i'm doing a damn good job cuz the man sexuallay harassed someone.....and had a mediocre year which resulted in a 4 year extension.... we here in nyc have been asking for him to be fired for years now..........but james dolan is an idiot and if we were counseling him and he listened, the knicks would be better off right now...
the bottom line is none of us here played pro ball, none us played big time college ball, and i dont think any of us are sons of big time coaches.........that's the beauty of a forum, you dont need qualifications to express your opinion, so it don't matter how many posts someone has.......that being said i aint saying he's trash, i'm saying at best he becomes bostjan nachbar.

and the last 4 games of the year were how many steps backwards?? gerald henderson was going in circles around him....roy hibbert was taking him to school, i understand he's smaller, but in the NBA plenty of players have to guard bigger guys......he had a great big east tournament, i'll let him slide on the GTown game since he was probably tired......and the consistency is nowhere to be found as he once again disappeared again in the NCAA Tournament.......
