Whenever there's a loaded draft like 2014 looks to be, there's always at least one or two teams who shamelessly tank. I agree with the premise that a potential franchise player could be drafted in the top 5. However, it still won't stop some owners/GMs from gutting rosters in preparation.

One? There are 5-6 guys in that class that are legitimate #1 talent. Absent a terrorist attack at the McDonald's All Star game there's no way Andy Harrison goes #1, yet I have him rated more highly than I did John Wall at the same point. Jabari Parker, Julius Randle, Aaron Gordon, tell a GM drafting #1 that he's drafting them and they'll be shouting the Takbir more loudly than a mullah.

Hamilton has had some really good recruiting classes with some 5 star gets (Chris Singleton, Michael Snaer, Solomon Alabi) and he's clearly brought the program to new heights -- winning the ACC last year, routinely competing with and beating UNC and Duke.

But he's never got a Wiggins type talent, and that could be a big time game changer. Obviously his parents being FSU alumni helps, as does his best friend and teammate committing to FSU last week. I still give Calipari and Kentucky the edge because of who they are, but I think Hamilton and the Noles have a decent shot.

I was hoping he would not reclassify the 2014 Draft more than likely is going to be the best since '96 unless Stern gets his way before he retires and increases the age limit. Hope he goes to FSU, Kentucky is going to have too many guys next year I don't want to see Wiggins only taking 8-10 shots a game.

Wiggins has 2 games on ESPN coming up on Jan 12 at 4 ET and Jan 20 at 5 ET.

He needs to be wearing a Florida State Seminoles uniform next season and an Orlando Magic uniform in 2014. That would make me a happy, happy man.
