C.J. Leslie is still open in his recruitment, but he did provide some insight into his recruiting. Kentucky, North Carolina, Florida, Maryland and Connecticut are the five schools recruiting him the hardest, and two of them stand out to him.
"North Carolina stands out because they just won a national championship," said Leslie. "Kentucky stands out because it is a great program and my former point guard (John Wall) is there."
We haven't offered him. He might get an offer once Barnes decides but he doesn't have one currently. I wouldn't mind adding him to what we already have but he would be behind McDonald, and Bullock.
Roy loves him big men. But where will he ever get minutes from?

If I had reached Thorpe, I would have told him that Deron Williams was to the Jazz like Bill Clinton was to the economy. People will always argue about whether or not he was responsible for all that success. But one thing's certain: He could have screwed it up, and didn't. - Henry Abbott
What's the prospects of Leslie getting an offer now? Roy scouted him at the last day of the pro-am, but it's worrisome that he was not at the Alumni game. Then you had McAdoo recently commit which could very well play in Leslie's recruitment.
Most assume Davis and possibly even Henson will be gone by next season, being 10-11. Leslie on the block next to Zeller with the Wear twins backing up. Sounds good to me.
I was told this morning that Kentucky is in a good position to possibly pick up a commitment from 6'8" forward C.J. Leslie following Big Blue Madness. I
just saw a few youtube highlights from his first two games. So long and athletic. I can't believe him and Wall were on the same team. Is he actually from the Raleigh area? And I'll try to post the highlights later this afternoon.
