Impressive Performances:

Allan Houston (NYK): 21 pts (7-15 FG, 0-3 3P), 7 reb, 4 ast in 32 min

Lee Nailon (NYK): 20 pts (9-15 FG), 2 reb, 1 ast in 22 min

Play of the Game:

Lee Nailon steal and finger roll to cap a 10-0 NYK run and end the first half.

MVP:

Allan Houston (NYK)

Commentary:

The Kings are falling apart. Peja Stojakovic finally came out of his shooting slump, but that didn't stop the team from shooting under 40% yet again. The Knicks pretty much just outplayed the Kings in every department tonight.

To me, it isn't so much that the Kings are falling apart. More like, it's the Kings not putting out any effort. They do not pick up their man and wind up giving up lay-ups and dunks. Those free points were killers. Not to mention more foul line trouble. But in this game and the Orlando game, the Kings only made an effort to win in the final moments of the 4th quarter. While the Kings are a great comeback team, their habit of waiting until the last 4:00 to show up is a bad. I admit, the Kings had a chance to steal the Orlando game and the game with NY but it's living life on the edge.
