Barry, who made $3 million last season, said he is willing to play for the minimum of $1.1 million if it is the right situation. If it doesn't come along, he'll start "making calls" to set up a career after basketball, perhaps in broadcasting.

I am pretty sure that he announced a game or two when he was on the IR with the Kings and he still has close ties to the Kings announcers. If he wants to get into broadcasting when his career is over, maybe Sacramento would be more appealing than other teams.

I'm afraid we already have too many SGs. Maybe we can play him at SF but he'll be undersized. If JB is two inches taller he'd be the perfect backup for Peja.
But you guys are right, he is worth more than the veteran's minimum. And I have a feeling some team will snap him up very quickly.
