While I think Peja has definite flaws, to me he makes more impact and blends better with the Kings talent because he gives the other players on the court room. If the Kings get Artest I think it will hurt Cwebb's offense as well as Bibby's. Teams have to space out to guard Peja, with Artest teams will sag back in and give Artest and Christie open shots while locking in on Bibby.

gotta disagree that peja has much more impact on a game than artest. is peja abetter scorer than ron? yes. is he anywhere in the same universe defensively? not by any stretch of the imagination. ron was not exposed by the pistons. he simply tried to do too much because jermaine got hurt and couldn't provide. as much interior scoring as needed. ron tried to take on too much of that load.
yes ron did try to force too many shots in THAT series but overall he is not nearly as bad as you make him out to be. ultimately i'd say this- there are players out there making more than twice what ron is making and aren't even half as good. but i want artest to stay with my boys the pacers.
