ESPN Insider: King's Offseason Grade

Chad Ford gave them a C+

He said Martin and Minard looked great in the summer league and Bluthenthal is one of the better shooting big men who was available.

He says these moves may be enough to keep the Kings in the running for the championship next year because some other teams have had worse offseasons than they have.

Ford is a poo poo head. The team got younger and more athletic, but didn't lose any perimeter shooting, in fact they added 3 guys in Minard, Martin and Bluethenthal who can shoot the rock.

you think of all the top 3 teams in the west the didnt get stronger than Kings...

Mavs added Stackhouse, Terry, Podzlokin, Laettner, Booth, Harris but lost Walker and Nash.
Lakers added so many good players and lost big power in Shaq, Fox and Payton and maybe Malone as well.
Wolves didnt change nothing.

But when you look at others teams in the west they are going to rip Sac really hard.. Suns got Q-rich and Nash.. Utah have Boozer and mehmo... Memphis are strong, Nuggets have K-Mart and improved back court, New Orleans are in the game as well, Rockets are a lot more dangerous

The west is really really tough !
