It's a good argument that Kings big man Brad Miller should have been included on Team USA. But Miller was never invited, and he said last season that an invitation would have been flattering but that he might have respectfully declined. He enjoys his leisure time, fishing, hunting and drinking beer with pals in Kendallville, Ind.

Miller would have much preferred that route than cutting short his time off to participate in the NBA All-Star Game last February. He accepted that invitation, flew into Los Angeles from Kendallville, fearing only one thing: an injury. Just his luck, he hurt his foot and missed some time.
