change the team
I'm not reacting to any dissapointing loses, this team obviously needs a change. I love the players we have now, and the only time prior to this when I advocated a trade what when Peja asked for one, because I was afriad he might not care... I'm starting to believe that even if Webber and Peja have accually gotten along fine off the court, that this team will never mesh on the court with both of them. I'd trade Peja for Artest right now if he weren't suspended. He may have played ok tonight, but his good games are few and far between, his skills are limited, and he gets shut out by any modestly athletic defensive oriented 6-5 player he's up against.
I accually wouldn't be that apposed to trading both he and Webber in the right circumstance. Webber's numbers are misleading, he isn't playing as well as it would appear, and he misses so many games. This team has shown in the past that they can play very good defense with a shot-blocker on the floor, and the rebounding definitely needs help. I'd be more than happy to hand much more offensive responsiblity to Miller and Bibby.
So am I the only one who thinks it's pretty obvious that this team probably can't compete, and that the time has come?
