Now this question... Well, even if some people dislike Ilgauskas for his decisions concerning NT they arent so ignorant to say thats hes a bad player. Hes one of the best centers in the league and people understand that. So I dont think there are many who think that Songaila is better, but there are many who like Songaila more than Big Z.

Last season there were opinions about Songaila making mistake going to NBA, because he was getting DNPs and people were thinking thats its gonna hurt him and in the same way its hurting our NT (though he isnt the leader in our NT anyway).

Also NBA basketball isnt worshiped here and is taken with grant of salt. Like saying "they all are selfish there, they cant shoot, they cant think, they just make show - its not real basketball, its a circus". But that of course isnt done by media, so still people follow it, watch it and are happy when Songaila (and Kings) does good.
