Kings just need to add a few players.

6'10 288 lb Kaspars kambala(meanest, toughest pf in europe) Moves fast, is all muscle and avgs. 17 ppg. 9 rebs pr. game. Very very evil player. Tough defender, I can't stress that enough. He's only played limited minutes too which is impressive. He is latvia's starting pf.

Pg. Gianmarco pozzecco(in case of injuries to other guards, he is a great spark and a scoring machine as we saw in the olympics. Very fierce, crazy player like ginobili)

Linus kleiza(another off the bench intense, tough, player.

I'd go after maciej lampe and develope him.

I'd also sign chris anderson for hustle plays, crashing the boards and off the bench intensity.

I'd also try to bring back divac for off the bench play, leadership, etc.

With brad and kaspars on the inside, we'd be the pistons of the west.
We'd have an army of big people to crush our enemys.

Miller 7'0 262, Divac 7'1 262, Lampe 7'0 280, Ostertag 7'2 300
Kambala 6'10 290, c. anderson 6'10 230
peja 6'10 240, songaila, 6'9 255, kleiza 6'8 240
evans(?) travis niessen, barnes
bibby, jackson, pozzecco

Re: Kings just need to add a few players.

what's nice is we'd have added scoring options in travis niessen(santa clara)
pozzecco, kambala(a literal beast), and possibly kleiza.

I agree that we only need a few players, not a rebuilbing. Everyone break out the "In Petrie We Trust" avatars.

Re: Kings just need to add a few players.

I really like kambala and he killed cska this year scoring 28 and 14 one game.

Kambala, jasikevicius, macijauskas, david anderson, are the likely non draftees that will come over next season. imo

Here's some college info. He tore it up. Europe only made him hone his game even more. He's 26 though so it's now or never imo.

http://www.reviewjournal.com/lvrj_ho.../10062242.html

"Kaspars Kambala could take exception to Herod's statement. The sophomore center was having his way with the Trojan pivotmen down low early in the game, scoring eight of the first 11 UNLV points as the Rebels held an early 11-4 lead.'

"Bayno gave Kambala, who finished with 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting and a team-high eight rebounds, the second half off,''

Apparently in europe kambala sometimes sits the 2nd half because of giving good leads and they bring him in later when needed. Imagine the points he could bring if he played more mins.

http://www.euroleague.net/ulebcup/no...nada=19&id=395
"Perhaps the main strengths of Real Madrid, however, is a powerful, almost undestructible frontcourt. Kaspars Kambala is the main man in the paint and Madrid leading scorer with 13.5 points on average in ULEB Cup play. He has a huge, strong body and knows how to use it, with footwork considered among the best in Europe. He calls his favourite move, a spin for an easy shot underneath, "The Helicopter", and at times he seems unstoppable."

http://www.reviewjournal.com/lvrj_ho...s/6462482.html

'Freshman center Kaspars Kambala said he was willing to play the role of villain tonight.
"I hope they yell at me. I hope they hate me," said Kambala, who has scored 20 and 22 points and registered double-digits in rebounding in his first two collegiate games. "If they yell at me, it will make me want to play harder just to make them mad."

"Center Kaspars Kambala is a junior center with an NBA future.'
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/bas...rlook_mtnwest/

http://espn.go.com/ncb/s/2000/1102/853679.html
"UNLV, coming off a 23-win season and a NCAA Tournament appearance, returns four starters. Kaspars Kambala is one of the top 10 centers in the country, and worked very hard to improve in the off-season."

http://www.reviewjournal.com/lvrj_ho.../12654593.html
-- KAS IS TOPS -- UNLV junior center Kaspars Kambala is not only the Mountain West's top rebounder, he has emerged as the league's leading scorer.
After his 27-point effort Tuesday against Eastern Kentucky, the 6-9 Kambala is averaging 20.6 points, slightly ahead of New Mexico's Lamont Long, who is averaging 19.0. Kambala is averaging 9.4 rebounds, with Wyoming's Josh Davis second at 9.2. Kambala also is the defensive rebounding leader at 6.4.

http://kgnc.big12.net/data/football/...ew_67832.shtml

'Senior center Kenyan Martin leads the Bearcats in scoring at 16.5 points per game and needs just nine to reach 900 for his career while Mickeal is averaging 13.0 for the season."

'Junior center Kaspars Kambala is UNLV's top threat, leading the Rebels in scoring (20.6) and rebounding (9.4). He had 27 points against Eastern Kentucky, the fifth time he has scored at least 20 in a game this season.'

I've said many times before that great players don't make it into the nba because of politics and preferances.
From camby getting punked by alex kuehl to kambala punking soo many (now)nba stars to scrubs making the nba.

My hope is the kings make a move and bring him in.

Thanks Peja Vu. I have it as my avatar now.

You also have a nice avatar right now of Mo Evans. I hope he stays with the Kings next season. He's a good player and a great person.
