Peja's rocks, but it's obvious he hasn't been trying very hard. I don't know what he'll be like next year, but I assume he'll be the same. I think he might get traded if it gets too bad. I'm sure the Kings will get a great player for him considering he's one of the the best shooters in the league.

I think this is very reaslitic of what we can see from Peja next year. Increased points scoring from 20 to about 25 because he showed flashes of the ability to create his own shot. Keep in mind that he avg about 25pts during the last stretch of the season. His passing has improved as much as his defence but still needs to make strides in both. His one on one defence is solid but needs to improve on his weak side help. And finally rebounding this is all about work ethic and wanting to play for his team, we can see that he has taken his statement back from wanting to be traded so we know that his work ethic will improve plus not taking time off this summer due to Euro Championships can only improve on his conditing and skill set before the next season.
Peja isn't a flashy passer, but he is a very effective one. He'll find the open man off a double team or when he drives off the dribble every time. And we have seen him do 25 and 6 for nearly a whole season, so all PejaVlade's # seem realistic to me.
I'm afraid that if Peja doesn't get back to peak production by the trading deadline this team could see some major changes, because they arn't going to be competitive otherwise.
Offensively I'll never be worried about him. Defensively I'm hoping he improves a lot. We need him. If he improves defensively he should be one of the top players in this league.

Yeah, Peja's got some pretty crappy D, but I think he can improve.

actually, its his offence that usually lets us down in the playoffs. he plays good one-on-one D, but his help is sometimes slow. remember against the mavs in 04 when in consecutive games he shut down nash and nowitzki with the game on the line?
