Sg?
If Cat leaves the SG spot becomes a huge question mark next year. Evens is a FA and could leave but do you think he and Martin could man the spot if both are retained? How about getting a SG in free agency? Raja Bell is a FA and he could be a good fit on the Kings.

Re: Sg?
If the Kings make a qualifying offer to Evans then they can match on him. I think that will be the best option. He addresses our needs for athleticism, can be impressive defensively, hits the three at a surprisingly high clip, doesn't disturb the team concept, and should come pretty cheap.
I would be happy if Evans started at shooting guard, and Bobby and Martin backed him up. Or they could sign a vet to bring off the bench if Martin doesn't seem ready. Then Petrie could focus his efforts on improving the team in other areas.

Raja Bell would be great off the bench but I dont see him as a starter with the Kings. Jaric could play Sg hes big and has good passing ability and hes a FA.

Re: Sg?
I would just go with Evans. He was great the previous season. He gave you defense, offense and lots of dunks which I like to see from Kings players.

More selfish then Cat? I agree he is turnover prone but has some real solid games, his turnovers would be limited since Bibby would play Pg. Cancer I doubt it if anything I think it would help Peja out, just to have another friend join the Kings.

I like Jaric a lot but I'm not sure he's that good defensively and thats where the Kings are headed hopefully.

IMHO I don't think hes ready to be a full starter at SG, he would be great off the bench with about 25min of playing time.

Good point, Raja is a get in your face defender but I have a hard time picturing him in a Kings uniform.

Re: Sg?
I rememember he was whining like crazing when they we forced to play most of his minutes at SG this year..hes just not strong enough..and he was injured most of last year.. im pretty sure the clippers let him walk..
hes just a gamble to say the least..he plays out of control MOST of the time, we dont need him
Raja Bell would be a good fit, but I would like him to come off the bench ala Jimmy Jackson in 02-03
