GP a King?

On TBDSSP he was asked were he would like to be next year and he said that Boston is his #1 but if things don't work out he also said Sacramento and Phx.

If we can aqurie him for cheap I think GP would be a great asset to the Kings, a savy vetran thats not slefish and can be a great of the bench for us.

Hmmm. That's news to me. Last I heard GP still hasn't wanted to accept a bench role.

In any case, I'm not sure he'd fit in well with the Kings. He doesn't have much of a shot left and he doesn't run the break well like he used to be able to. That being said, he does provide veteran leadership.

Re: GP a King?

I like it because it would allow us to trade Bjax and have a good backup for 1 year while we can look at other options

Re: GP a King?

I don't know. The C's wanted to run last year but GP rarely did. He's also gotten down right bad on the defensive end and he's shot has left him. He does provide good leadership but I'm not sure if leadership is worth signing a player for.

Re: GP a King?

I haven't watched GP for a long time, so don't tear my head off. Is his defense really THAT bad? It's hard to believe that one of the last decade's lockdown defenders could turn into scum.
