SAR to Sacramento for $60MM ?

link

there still may be some subterfuge in the next few days. The GM said that the Trail Blazers are now trying to work out a sign-and-trade for Abdur-Rahim with Sacramento and a third team that would entice the free agent with a much larger contract, one in the $60 million region.

It would be a great pickup for the Kings , but I got a feeling he will end up with the nets .

Re: SAR to Sacramento for $60MM ?

if SAC offers bobby and tag (ending) i can't see portland not snapping that up. jackson would be great for them. yes they have telfair and jack, and webster. but they're eying guys like antonio daniels. they want a vet that can start at the two and cover the point when the youngs get jittery.

SAR would love playing in in Sacramento. i'm sure he could figure out a way to deal with those dreaded sixty million dollars.

realgm.com is reporting that the Nets and the Blazers have agreed to a sign-and-trade deal.

We should get the verdict on Bonzi tomorrow, since that's the last day for Memphis to pick up his option.
