What the HECK was Petrie thinking???

Bonzi Wells?

Bonzi FREAKING Wells?

The same Bonzi Wells who got booted from his All-State high-school team... by his fellow team-mates?

The same Bonzi Wells who converted his Key to Portland into a one-way ticket out of town?

The same Bonzi Wells who had a restraining order placed against him by his own coach to keep him away from the team during the playoffs last season?

Wow.

Sounds to me like Petrie is getting desperate to keep the talent level up there in Sac-town. Take it from a Blazers fan, full rebuild mode is not far away.

Wow.

Rebuilds are for teams that give players like Wells away.

Playoff appearances are for teams that acquire players like Wells.

A lot of Blazers fans are like you, PBF, and simply don't like Bonzi for the person you think he is, but Sacramento's getting a good basketball player at a pretty low price.

Sacramento needs a guy like this, we have been soft and quiet for a while, im happy as can be ! But dont worry, Petrie has been getting the term "WTF are you Thinking" After every trade, and he has looked like the smart one after it is all said and done.

Re: What the HECK was Petrie thinking???

Petrie is in an impossible position, he needs to put together a contender to satisfy the fans that are used to that level of play, but the key to that run, C-Webb couldn't get it done anymore. So he gambled.

Re: What the HECK was Petrie thinking???

im really sad to see bobby go, but you know with all the injury problems its probably best this way too, i was kind of sad to see greg go too, i was really hoping to see him in shape but oh well maybe we can get a solid big man. I think that its possible for bonzi to get a better attitude because rick coached the "uncoachable" christie, don't forget about cwebb and his problems, he turned into a posterchild pretty much. Also jdubb came in with a bad attitude and soon was "untradeable" by joe, so you stranger things have happened.
