The highest-scoring team in the league last season, Phoenix's offense is expected to to take a step back with Stoudemire, the NBA's third leading scorer in 2004-05, out at least four months following knee surgery. However, reigning MVP Steve Nash and the Suns have reached triple digits in five of their first seven preseason games.
Nash scored just four points but handed out 12 assists in 22 minutes for Phoenix, which had six players score in double figures. The Suns recorded 34 assists against just eight turnovers.
Jones, who has replaced Stoudemire in the starting lineup, made 6-of-11 shots, including 3-of-5 from the arc.
Phoenix held an 89-72 lead after three quarters and rested many of its starters in the final period.
Bonzi Wells had 21 points and 10 rebounds for Sacramento, which shot 41 percent (34-of-83). Mike Bibby scored just two points on 1-of-11 shooting.
