Re: The Offical Fire Rick Adelman Thread
^In previous games they have had a better offensive set, with Brad in the high post with the ball and Shareef in the low post. Don't exactly know where that one went today. Maybe they were trying something new since the things they were doing before obvious weren't working well enough to win.
Anyways, I have always been an Adelman supporter, and I remain one, he can (up until now at least) always make a top tier offense out of what he is given, and the one year he had decent defensive talent, he got them to play great D too. If/when the Kings have to rebuild entirely with young talent, I hope he will be willing to stick around and we can have a team that is truely based on the high post/motion offense again, like it used to be with Webb and Vlade, unlike this team that Petrie has tossed together on the fly.
But, I certainly wouldn't be surprised if the Maloofs panic and scapegoat him. I mean, if they keep losing, someone will have to take the fall, because the folks at Arco arn't gonna keep paying all that money for those tickets to see the Kings stick up the joint without an explaination.
