KINGS UPDATE
Status: Progress stalled after the Friday rout of Denver in the form of a 105-95 setback to a New York Knicks team that gained its first victory of the season. The Kings were pushed around inside, allowed the Knicks to shoot 53 percent and trailed the entire way in shooting 41 percent.
Trend: Is it time for another team meeting? The Kings can't compete if they keep yielding points inside, if Mike Bibby can't hit shots and the team misses a ton of three-pointers. A ton of home games present a golden chance to reach .500.
Injury report: None.
JAZZ UPDATE
Status:
The co-leaders in the Northwest Division have surged early, but the health of Andrei Kirilenko is a concern. He's their best player and one of the most explosive talents in the league with the ability to score, run, rebound and block shots. He sat out Monday's loss to the Knicks with a sprained right ankle.
Trend: With a rash of injuries, thank goodness for Mehmet Okur. He's played like a Most Improved Player candidate in averaging 22.6 points and 10 rebounds entering play Monday. Carlos Boozer has been sidelined due to injury.
Injury report: Matt Harpring, knees, game-to-game; Kirilenko, right ankle, week-to-week.
Best matchup: Abdur-Rahim vs. Okur - In seasons past, this was all Abdur-Rahim, but Okur has enjoyed a breakthrough, able to score inside and out.

Its just hard to play a game when you are missing boozer and kirilenko. Just kirilenko makes that much differnce to the way the jazz play adn win games. We need him back as fast as possible. But this run may pay off for the moment, then when you guys get your starters in, ouch.
