Re: Kings vs. Bucks Game Thread (11/18)
The Bucks lost by 24 to the Clippers on Tuesday ( Link ) and escaped with a victory tonight vs. the Warriors, 90-87 ( Link ).
This will be their 3rd game in 4 nights.

Re: Kings vs. Bucks Game Thread (11/18)
Probably, but I am worried about the T.J. vs. Bibby matchup. I don't see Bibby being able to stick with him at all...

Re: Kings vs. Bucks Game Thread (11/18)
Mission could be possible: The Kings are looking to win back-to-back games for the first time this season
Up next
Quote:
Kings (3-5) vs. Milwaukee (5-2)
THE SKINNY
Site: Arco Arena.
Tipoff: Today, 7 p.m.
TV: 10
Radio: KHTK 1140, KAHI 950.
Line: Kings by 4 1/2.
KINGS UPDATE
Status: The blowout win over Utah on Tuesday was nice, but the Kings need a quality win to help Project Cohesion. They rediscovered the fast break against the Jazz, point guard Mike Bibby found his shot and had a season-high 25 points, and reserve forward Kenny Thomas scored in double digits (10 points) for the first time this season. All good signs.
Trend: They have yet to win two in a row, which means they have yet to experience the confidence that comes with back-to-back or - who knows? - three straight wins. Center Brad Miller needs to be at his passing best, Bibby needs to be on, and the Kings must not suffer offensive droughts if they want to stay within sniffing distance of the Bucks.
Injury report: None.
BUCKS UPDATE
Status: The Bucks come in as the hottest team in the NBA, having beaten quality opponents in Philadelphia, New Jersey, Miami, Indiana and Golden State. Sweet-shooting guard Michael Redd has led or tied for the team high in points every game thus far, which makes it a safe bet that he'll be a threat. The Bucks are the top rebounding team in the league.
Trend: Redd is the known commodity, but no one knew how point guard T.J. Ford would recover from his one-season hiatus. Ford missed the 2004-05 campaign with a back injury but is averaging 14.4 points, 9.6 assists, 4.9 rebounds and 2.1 steals -a solid line, indeed.
Injury report: None.
LINEUPS
Kings
No.PlayerPos.42 Bonzi WellsSG
10 Mike BibbyPG
16 Peja StojakovicSF
3 Shareef Abdur-RahimPF
52 Brad MillerC
Bucks
22 Michael ReddSG
11 T.J. FordPG
21 Bobby SimmonsSF
8 Joe SmithPF
20 Jamaal MagloireC
Best matchup: Wells vs. Redd - Redd gets much-deserved credit for being one of the game's best scorers, but he's weak enough on defense that Wells should be able to have good looks. And if Wells can slow down Redd's shot, the Kings will stay close.
