Wayne Wallace? He seems like a good defensive D2 PF to look at.

A euro player that hasn't been hyped heavily yet. Leave him over-seas to develop and bring him over when and if he improves. Pretty much what the Spurs did with Manu Ginobili.

I guess just take whoever has slid from where they were expected to be taken. Ideally, a project center can be had (Vranes or Perkins). As for Wayne Wallace, he is related to Ben Wallace but the dude is 6'9" 187lbs (from nbadraft.net). 187lbs! I'm like 5'9" 165lbs and I'm pretty skinny. This guy is a foot taller and weights 20 more lbs. I dunno, but think the guy might have some strength problems??

I was hoping Uche Nsonwu-Amadi may slip to us, but fat chance of that now. He just had to go out played well at the Chicago camp, rrhhh!!

At #56, the best we can hope for is some young talented kid who is way over his head, got some bad advice, and declared for the draft at least three yrs before he is ready. Someone who may have been a 1st rounder if he stays in school and develops as expected. I'm looking at you, Erazem Lorbek. But he may not even last until #56.

I think we should just draft Katie Holmes. At least seeing her play in tank tops and shorts is entertaining; and she may have just as much talent as what we'll get at #56 pick anyway.

"Kevin Garnett shares some of Bryant’s personality traits. He’s arrogant…but he realizes it. He can be insufferable…but he laughs about it. He’s intense…but he can turn it off. Kevin Garnett is like the sane person who thinks he might be going crazy. Kobe Bryant is the crazy person who thinks that everyone else is insane." - Former NBA player Paul Shirley

Here’s a list of some of the recent guys taken at 56:
Luis Scola, Robertas Javtokas, Jaquay Wells, Tim Young, J.R. Henderson, Ben Pepper, Reggie Geary, Chris Carr.
